In January of 2004, the Law Office of Rebecca Rutter moved from its original location in down town Derry, into a newly constructed facility in Derry’s historic district, in the eastern part of town. The move was several months in the making - during which time, we built an annex onto the Rutter family home for use as the new office facility. I believe our current location offers a number of benefits to our clients. When you come to visit us, you will enjoy a peaceful, quiet country setting. The original home, onto which the office-annex was built, is a 150 year old colonial house, which has been in the family for nearly 100 years. It is located on 45 acres of undeveloped land, which was once the site of my grandfather’s farm. I realize that coming to see a lawyer can be a stressful experience, and so I hope that these surroundings might prove soothing and pleasant to our clients.

As a client, you will also enjoy optimum privacy, afforded by a secluded setting and the absence of any other offices in the building. As an added bonus, the access to the office is very convenient, with no need to fight downtown traffic, and with ample parking for client use. Finally, the office location provides historic interest, with all the benefits of modern technology. The new office facility actually provides more working space than our former location, thus allowing plenty of room for electronics and computer equipment. Although the original house is over a century old, the new office addition has all the conveniences of the modern era. At the same time, we made every effort to maintain the historic flavor and colonial-design of the old home within the addition. And of course, the office is fully handicapped accessible.

DIRECTIONS TO THE OFFICE

FROM 93

Take Exit 4. Go east on Route 102, through downtown Derry to the traffic circle (2.1 miles). From that point, follow directions provided below.

FROM THE DERRY TRAFFIC CIRCLE

Take East Derry/ Hampstead Road leading out of the circle. As you take this road, the Mobile station will be on your immediate right and a tan-colored “drive through ATM building” will be on your immediate left. You will also see a green road sign to your right, which states “East Derry Road to Hampstead Road.”

Proceed up this road 1.1 miles to an intersection with a blinking yellow light. Take right onto Lane Road.

Travel .8 mile down Lane Road. (It is #52.) Immediately before reaching the office, you will pass a large open field on your right, and then will go around a corner. We are located on the left, directly after the corner. It is a yellow colonial, set back from the road.

Turn left into the driveway, where you will see a blue sign reading “Law Office of Rebecca J. Rutter.” The driveway winds up a slight incline and leads to a small parking lot for use by visitors to the office. The walkway to the office will be on your left, leading to a covered entryway with a handicapped - accessible ramp.
