At the end of this training participants will be able to:

• Increase cultural competency and sensitivity around the LGBTQ community.

• Bring about positive, LGBTQ affirming change in the participant's knowledge, attitude, and behavior towards the LGBTQ community.

• Utilize best practices to drive enhanced awareness, understanding, and sensitivity around LGBTQ community issues.

• Identify personal strengths in creating inclusivity within their team and/or company.

• Implement best practices for inclusive exchanges with LGBTQ community members.

• Describe specific challenges transgender people have in the workplace and as consumers.

• Identify best practices for supporting transgender people within the workplace and as consumers.
